Thanks again!
EA flatsucksmonkeyass, I hate their Need4Speed copyprotections. Not that I want to pirate them, but the protection is that extreme, that my Player needs about 20 minutes until it finds the right path. If I ever see an EA building, I guess I would run amok with a bazooka.

Re: good job, shrapnel !
Thanks cynapse.... that would've made sense. (Doh!) Maybe I'll try spending more time in research and less in ship design.
I'm off tomorrow... I hope I remember to pick the kids up at school!

Terminator: Phased-plasma rifle in the forty watt range.
Clerk: Hey, just what you see, pal.

Re: good job, shrapnel !
Wr8th! dont ever talk like that again! *LOL* Such blasphemy... Ship design is like, my HOME screen
Just kidden, actually research used to be a major thing for me, so I could get the jump on neighbor empires... but so far I have just played on HighTech for purposes of creating a few custom parts... So I know where to draw the balance line *lol*

Ouch, Wr8th - you have a sense of humour just like Joan Rivers - you are also obviously not dedicated enough, the true SEIV player needs no food and sleep and as for personal hygiene, do the sergetti look like they have a sense of smell?
it just adds to the ambience
On a serious note, I do exactly the same on the repeat start-ups

Re: good job, shrapnel !
Hey now. I bath every first saturday of the month. Thats good enough for now. :-)
As for the tech tree wraith, I like to dable with it alot more lately as well. Ship design too. Im trying to create a new component for Plasma Spheres like the Romulans use. My main problem, is finding a pic to display the weapon properly.
Anyone got any ideas?

Re: good job, shrapnel !
Have you looked into the Imagemod?
It's up to almost 1000 components, and 250 weapon animations.

You're probably right of course. I've been repeatedly accused of being too subtle. Perhaps I scaled back too much from my usual demeanor on flamewar forums.... gotta get rid of that etched retinal image of a clubbed baby seal.
Actually, I use Louis Black as a partial prototype for my altered ego.

Agreed that your premis would work if said chores were each minor, minimalist household chores of the 'taking the bin out' variety - you would still get quite a bit of time bashing the Phong (is that like spanking the monkey??)
Unfortunately, Godzilla has decreed that each of my chores is more of the 'strip the wallpaper from the living room, polyfilla and repaint' variety.
Quite sad really. She goes off to take the lead role in "Jurassic Park IV" whilst I get to make major structural alterations to the cave
This means that when she returns from savaging sheep on Saturday morning, I will be panicking and at the tail end of suffering from sleep deprivation, mild starvation and thirst whilst also smelling like a pot of moldy parmesan cheese.
I suspect that my excuse that I was kidnapped by aliens is not going to hold much water.
Someone play the funeral march

JP: Hey, some of those compsognathus' were cute, in a reptilian manner.
