Re: Best mod\'s
Is this the line to shamlessly plug one's own mod?
If so then I'd have to make a push for my Dark Nova 4 mod. Makes relativly little changes to actual techs and game style but radically alters ship designs for increased diversity. Lots more sizes and Lots of mounts. Other stuff in there too but those are the key aspects.

Re: Best mod\'s
The TDM-ModPack doesn't change any rules/weapons/buildings/anything on the game, it just beefs up the AI. You can find it here:

Re: Best mod\'s
I like the DevNull mod,.. well actually once I gave it some 'miner' changes and put it on 'A Steroid' I liked it even better. (I know it's a bad attempt at plugging my mod, but I just had to do it.)
Cheers!
P.S. my mod can be found in my sig.

Re: Best mod\'s
Can someone remind me how to change the order of mods listed in the Modpicker?. I have 22 mods and I only use 5 of them. Its annoying having to scroll down to get a mod since they aren't in alphabetical order.

When it comes to just plain neatness id have to say the Star Wars II mod, it has a horibble AI (wasnt made for solo play).

Re: Best mod\'s
They are in alphabetical order for me (V 2.21). I gather the only other sorting making sense would be by modification/creation date, and I seem to recall the previous Version I used work that way, but don't quote me on that.

Re: Best mod\'s
You can place a character such as '_' at the beginning of the folder names for the mods you want to appear at the top. This should cause them to appear at the beginning of the list.

My favorite is the DevNull mod... It does a great job balacing some issues... For example, it manages to make missiles viable for a much longer period of time.
