This might have been a good time to start a new topic, but it's interesting to see this thread resurected.
Anyway, there is no Facility that will correct Irradiation (as in the special planet type from FQM), however you may be able to get a new and different planet type by using Stellar Manipulation components on ships in the same sector as this planet to destory it and recreate it.
If I recall correctly, Irradiated and SmallMachineWorld planets cannot be created by Stellar Manipulation.

You can Terraform Irradiated Planets as well. It will change the atmosphere to breathable. The thing is on Irradiated planets domed planets have more facility space than undomed. Not the kind of Terrafrorming you're after

Bleh, I am glad I didn't reply till I read this message and then go back to read the date stamp, I was laughing pretty hard thinking that after all the games you and I have been in you didn't catch that problem, hehe. Ok, I am still laughing, but not as hard
