Re: Fools Lament III (modded) - Recruiting Now!
Fun war all around. It has been a blast fighting a non-stop war with everything at your disposal. And if Ulm were to seige my castle again next turn, he will lose everything once again.
Nice job with the devils Jurri. I still hope to kill some more of them. You have only lost 60-70 of them and I had hoped to kill more. Of course, they are full of afflictions now also, which is always annoying. hehe
A couple more turns and I will be done for. Good gaming and good luck to all remaining players.

Re: Fools Lament III (modded) - Recruiting Now!
Hehee, did you learn anything, Knudsen? (I happened to spy the battle...)
Panther: I thought you had more dudes in your castle than that. The dragon was a let-down, too It did kill many devils with the wing buffet even after being blinded, though, which was neat. I just looked through my devils a bit, perhaps a third has afflictions. I noticed that losing an arm doesn't take the trident attack away, which is quite weird.

Yes. I learned not to pay my troops in advance.
Standard letter to parents of the members of the Ulm Heavy Infantry:
"Dear Sir and/or Madam
We regret to inform You that your son has been enlisted in the Glorious Heavy Infantry of Ulm. Your sons personal effects will be sent to you as soon as his death is confirmed."

It seems killing time has begun in earnest! Pretenders dropping left and right, and here I am in the swamps wondering what to do next

Abysia seems to be spreading like a fiery plague. Could be trouble!

The Panther prowls again! In just a few turns he's apparently summoned himself a brand new humongous army that has blasted through his Ulmian besiegers. I wonder what he'll do with his newfound strength?

Looks like T'ien C'hi staled another one. Perhaps it's time to make him AI if he won't resurface in a day or so?

Re: Fools Lament III (modded) - Recruiting Now!
Ah, the Panther's new summoned army is going devil hunting! Before he leaves this world, the great cat must punish the Fiends of Hell who instigated the elimination of the peaceful Spider Empire.
As for my god, he lost an eye in the first province he took. He lost the other eye on about turn 6 and was pretty much useless ever since that point. So annoying. Why could he not have gotten something less troublesome like a chest wound or never healing wound???
Fighting wars to the bitter end is so much fun.
