Well I know I'd rather play Ulm, myself. Tried to play Man in SP once, I got bored before there was even a war. Ulm makes me happy, it's gothic Germany. |

Re: Asia Twist - Pbem (Starts Sunday)
I just need to face it...I don't know anything about MA. I am playing with a BUNCH of very good players and I also know nothing about ANY of the MA nations but that map is Dang pretty.
Pasha was kind enough to realize that and give me a nation that was pretty straight forward, and somewhat easy to play as I have no delusions on where I am going to finish in this race.

LOL, I keep driving him crazy changing back and forth between Man and Ulm as I read this post and then another Post.

I don't know if Pasha needs to know for sure which one I will take but when Sunday rolls around I will have my Pretender in (on One of those 2 nations) and ready to absorb my A** whoopin in style!! |

i would stick with ulm to be fair, man just ain't worth it, nice things to know also to get you started (and hopefully have you contribute more to and awesome game), you're national mages are completely unaffected by drain (though the lack of high power mages means you may like to take magic anyway)
and you're gaurdians aren't sacred (unlike their LA counterparts) but are still armed with those lovely halberds with the bane of heresy (also they are heavier hitters than you're other infantry and cost slightly less resources than you're other 20 protection troops so they may very well make the core of you're armies along with sapper/arbalest support and later mages casting you're national earth/holy evocations.)

 Hi:
I am gonna be making some last minute tweaks to the map. I think the island starting positions are a bit too isolated. So, I am going to add some sea port provinces. I will let everyone know when the "final" version is available.

Go! Bandar Log! Go! Rah! Rah!

Here we go in a flung festoon, Half-way up to the jealous moon!
Don't you envy our pranceful bands?
Don't you wish you had extra hands?
Wouldn't you like if your tails were -so-
Curved in the shape of a cupid's bow?
Now you're angry, but - never mind,
Brother, thy tail hangs down behind!

Re: Asia Twist - Pbem (Starts Sunday)
awww i want a theme song now
 *thinks hard*

They came flying from far away, now I'm under their spell
I love hearing the stories that they tell
They've seen places beyond my land and they've found new horizons
They speak strangely but I understand
And I dream I'm an eagle
And I dream I can spread my wings

Flying high, high, I'm a bird in the sky
I'm an eagle that rides on the breeze
High, high, what a feeling to fly
Over mountains and forests and seas
And to go anywhere that I please

As all good friends we talk all night, and we fly wing to wing
I have questions and they know everything
There's no limit to what I feel, we climb higher and higher
Am I dreaming or is it all real?
Is it true I'm an eagle?
Is it true I can spread my wings?

Flying high, high, I'm a bird in the sky (I'm an eagle)
I'm an eagle that rides on the breeze
High, high, what a feeling to fly (what a feeling)
Over mountains and forests and seas
And to go anywhere that I please

And I dream I'm an eagle
And I dream I can spread my wings

Flying high, high, I'm a bird in the sky (I'm an eagle)
I'm an eagle that rides on the breeze
High, high, what a feeling to fly (what a feeling)

 Kristoffer:
Didn't you get Machaka?
GrudgeBringer:

Nah, don't talk like that about Man with KO present! I was complaining once how bad MA Man is and he said he got discouraged and won't fix them soon. So be silent and calmly lose your war with KO, maybe then smth good will happen |
