Re: Skill Cards - The NEW Look
The grammar needs work but the art design is great!!
May I make an text editing suggestion? How about the following for the copy?
Melee attacks by units stacked with this Leader have triple Firepower against enemies who lacked an LOS to the attackers at the beginning of the impulse.

Re: Skill Cards - The NEW Look
I'll back Psitticine up on this. Matter of fact, I recommend you email all the card text to him for a double check - he did a hell of a job on the TWE manual.
The artwork is sweet...

Re: Skill Cards - The NEW Look
Like it or not, here come my 2cents...
When reading "LOS", some people think 'line of sight' others think 'el oh ess'. So choosing between 'a LOS' and 'an LOS' isn't easy. Either way it will always seem wrong to someone. Why not just avoid the problem, leave out the indefinite article, and write: ...who lacked LOS...

Re: Skill Cards - The NEW Look
Hi All,
The new card does look good. And my grammar could be better. Of course the grammar is "beta."
Psitticine I'd love for you to take a look at the card text. Bamse has it right now, but would you like to have a shot at it after that?
Best,
Mark

Re: Skill Cards - The NEW Look
I have never seen "an LOS" used anywhere before. I have only seen "a LOS" but I much prefer simply "LOS" without "an" or "a" in front. So you would say:"A soldier with LOS to an enemy". I think it sounds better that way. That's just my opinion.
Another thing about grammar:
I believe the correct way to spell the title is: "Lock'n'Load" i.e. with 2 apostrophs and a small "n". The grammar of a title is really important so please check this out before publishing.
...English is not my native tongue so I might be wrong but I just wanted to share my opinion for the best of this exciting game.

Re: Skill Cards - The NEW Look
Jaeger's right--the correct form would be "Lock 'n' Load"
(Mark runs screaming in horror as one of the Ghosts of Editors Past comes back to haunt him...
Of course, if you promise to do Falklands next I might not ever make editorial corrections again...
