Diffrent looking temples?
Take a look at this and this. Yup, it's the main screen.
However, either it is my eyes or then we have diffrent looking temples in Dominions II...

Re: Diffrent looking temples?
Do you mean on the toolbar at the right hand side? I can't see any temples on the map itself in the first shot.

Re: Diffrent looking temples?
Temples for each race look different. Maybe even for each theme but I'm not sure about that.

Re: Diffrent looking temples?
3 little questions
1) is the max dominion still at 10?
2) do you have spells which directly lower or rise dominions in a given province (aside preaching...)
3) are the blessed units modified by the intensity of the dominions of the province they are in?

no thanks. It could have been an interesting tweak to limit dominions level to 10 in the design phase of a god, but to allow it to climb past it with each 5 temples built. This would have been an incentive to start at 8/9/10 your dominions level, as you would know you could read perhaps 12 by midgame, contrary to players choosing a lower level. Nobody would make a god with dominions 9 or 10 right (except perhaps Emor, but they get too many design points in their hands )
As of now, empires which survives up to the medium to end game reach 10.

I don't know if anything has been changed, but in my games I've seen Marignon with 17 dominion, and on occasions my dominion goes to 11-12 (depending). I guess limit is only in the design, not in game. Besides Marignon has "Fires of the Faith" theme which empowers their dominion ALOT, and it wouldn't be worth much if there is in game limit of 10.

I thought you could get over 10 in dominion strength with temples in dom 1. I thought you were reffering to starting strength when you asked if 10 was max. As for dom 2 apparently you can go past 10 with temples, I do not think this has been tampered with since dom 1.
*edit correction 10 is max at least without fires of the faith or blood sacrifice, also there were only room for 10 candles in dom1 so obviously I was wrong*
