What should we get Kristoffer for Christmas?
Yes I love Illwinter and the Dominion game but this thought did have sneaky undertones.....
I was thinking "Master of Magic" which is an old standby (I still play it on my WinXP machine). Alot of what I would like to see in Dominions comes from that. But hey, he could just download that from the-underdogs.org
Maybe "Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic" which in many ways is a decent replacement for MoM. Its a PBEM but has many of the features that are being mentioned on the wish lists here.
There is an old board game called "Magic Realm" which I considered a great effort to try and achieve random in a board game. It still shows up on EBay every once in awhile http://www.boardgamegeek.com/viewitem.php3?gameid=22
(Sorry. The board was slow and I used to do things like this just to spark activity back when I was paid to manage chat forums. Dont mind me, Im only half serious)

Master of Magic is at the top of my Best Game Ever list.
Shadow Magic is up there as well (It just isn't as adictive).
I've never tried Magic Realm but I plan I looking it up now.

I think we should get 100,000 units sold of Dominions 2 for Kris by Christmas.
I'm sure he'd appreciate that and the thought behind it.

I think, that a vacation on Tahiti would be the best for him.
1 year ago I was there for month, in january. Nothing is better than missing the days when the average temp. is like -20.

(insert evil, expected comments here)
But as for the gift:
Medieval Total War
But i think Kristoffer has MTW.

Re: What should we get Kristoffer for Christmas?
I'd bet a sack full of Astral Gems that Kristoffer has played MoM - there are already a number of things I'd consider "tributes" in Dominions.

Re: What should we get Kristoffer for Christmas?
The hard part is that even if we did figure this out then we have to figure out what to get Johan. He always seemed to me to be to be deeper tech than Kristoffer. Considering his programming headaches I would think he would be a prime candidate for a nice vacation package.
Nahh I cant afford that. What is it you get the stressed programmer? Nerf weapons? Yeah, thats it. Do they make nerf swords?
