Default Partner not sharing designs

I'm playing my first game with Sundevil's diplomacy mod, and I have noticed a problem. My partner is not sharing any ship or unit designs with me, not its own and not the enemies, even through I know it has several ship types and has encountered several enemy ships. I only have one ship listed, one that blew up one of my early scouts.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with the mod, but I've never had this problem before.

I've also noticed that my partner is not sharing information on what tech levels they are currently at, which I thought they were supposed to do...this makes trading techs a bit harder as it is somewhat hit or miss as to whether my offer will be worthwhile to them.

I too have noticed this, and it realy aggervates me. Nothing more frustrating them them requesting you share technology, and they do not. I stopped accepting these treaties as a waste of time.

Armageddon:

I look into this problem, but I'm pretty sure that this is hard coded, because I have not seen an option that lets you specify what kind of trades can happen and the rate of trades occurring. Thanks for your other Posts of input and if you have any other questions or information please let me know. Thanks again.

I've found that the diplomacy AI is doing MUCH better with the mod. Thank you so much for fixing this. I now am getting along much better and having a much better, more realistic game. Its still not perfect, but it is vastly superior to the previous diplomacy.

Its strange...one of my allies is sharing all designs. One started sharing some designs, but then stopped. I'll keep playing around with it and then let y'all know what I find.
