Siege questions, plus one on searching.
Hey.
Excuse my ignorance in advance...
1. Do Siege specialists count toward repairing walls as well as destroying them?
2. If I send an army into a province where I am besieged, will they magically slip inside the walls, or fight with the siegeing army?
3. If the latter, does an army *inside* the fort "breaking siege" join with the relieving army, or do they fight two wholly separate battles? (this might be considered a bug, if so)
4. How do I use the search function in this forum so that I don't have to essentially redo the search for each result, as the back button gives an error...
Thanks,
Rabe the O'erthrown

Re: Siege questions, plus one on searching.
The answer to 2 depends on how you move that army to join them: If you moved them by casting something like Gateway, Astral Travel, Trod, Teleport, Trapeze, etc., then yes, they *DO* magically slip inside the walls. Otherwise, they'll attack the besiegers.
Besieged units that attempt to break the siege will join the battle against the besiegers as well.
WARNING: If you lose the battle when breaking siege, and no units remained behind in the castle, you lose the castle as well. This will occur even if the enemy was not successful in breaking down the gates: You did, after all, open them, and left nobody behind to close them.

All stealth armies slip past the siegers as well. This includes those affected with Glamour.
I haven't had any problems with the search button, except for them making it a little larger so more people would use it .

Re: Siege questions, plus one on searching.
I usually use the right-click/"open in new window" method to read links off of the search. That way, one thread can be loading while I'm scanning through another. (I have dial-up access, as you might guess by that. )
