2.11 Servers Less Stable?
I've noticed that ever since all the servers I'm on upgraded to 2.11, an interesting behavior has crept in: After a server has been left running for some time, it will often hang for great lengths of time on "Waiting for game info", and submitting a turn, or attempting to perform a turn, can result in lengthy delays. The server, however, has not actually crashed, it's just running really, really slowly. I've observed this to occur on several different servers, the only thing in common being that they are all Windows-based.
Restarting the server invariably clears this problem up. Has anyone on a Linux-based server, like Mosehansen's, observed this behavior at all? It seems there might be a memory leak of some sort in the network code, which was reported to have been changed to avoid lag issues from lagging clients, but now seems to have gotten much worse.
