The harm that software pirates do
Software piracy sucks. Rationalize it as you will, it still sucks.
And while most of us could state very briefly the direct harm they do, the response to the post by Ubik illustrates the indirect harm they do. Software Piracy, like cheating, creates an atmosphere of hostility and suspicion, in which the innocent are often falsely accused on the basis of scanty evidence.
Ubik, I'm sorry. Personally, I'm convinced that you are innocent of all wrong-doing or criminal intent.
