PBW- Final STM Mod game.
Here it is. Sign up here for the Final Star Trek Mod game.
Tesco run style. Yep self sufficent..
This will be a game set on 60 hours Auto. And will not be turned off....
Settings. 1 Plant Start. Everything on. Except events will be turned off.
But to make this game fun. We all sign up and then our empire is drawn out of a hat. Who we play. I will be in. ( Damn me for not keeping to my commitments of cutting down PBW. Oh well sucker I guess )
I am looking for enough players to play the major races...
And those who would like to play as a back up for people on vacation etc....
Also. When you sign up. Your in it for the long run. Even when your empire is dead. You will shift over to the back up pool.
This game will be heavy RP.
The game will start as soon as AT releases the final Version of the Star Trek Mod.
I would like to see a nice combo of vetern and new PBW players.
Victory conditions are. When the surviving players wish to end the game.
Other rules.
Miss 4 turns no notice. Replacement takes over.
If I play I will want to have some one create the map.

I take it then that the map will be generated, rather than the "star trek map" that was created to be true to the genre? I only ask because I am eating my words. In the Quadrants of Conflict game I raised a great deal of concern over using that map, saying that since it was known to all that it would take something away from the game. In fact, I found the opposite to be the case - it's quite nice for the RP aspect to use the RP map (I think it's called something different but for the Quad game it is "QuadrantsofConflictV1.8.MAP")...and, after all, starfaring races have big telescopes, don't they...
just asking...

Re: PBW- Final STM Mod game.
Hi,
Tesco if you want I can send you the map (it's a changed map by me and Tnarg, and not standard with the STM-mod)
Indeed Quadrants of Conflict is an very fun but most of all realistic Star Trek game (as I intended) So ussing the map will work.
But your idea of the great-empire-pool, is interested also, So you could count me in.
Intimidator,
BTW. Alarikf : I remember your objections against the map, oh man you we're irritating

Re: PBW- Final STM Mod game.
If you enable the "map seen by all players" option and tell everyone to not take the Ancient Race trait, using an available map is a null issue.

Re: PBW- Final STM Mod game.
You are right, but the point was that Tnarg's map was available for everybody (it comes with the mod) so some people we're affraid that scouting wasn't necessary anymore, but the opposite is true.
I, as an Romulan, still have lots of (cloaked ) ships flying around for scouting purposes only.........(psst, but don't tell Alarikf, he is the Klingon )

Re: PBW- Final STM Mod game.
Interested. I hope this game won't start until November? If so, please count me in. (Hell, I can even act as a replacement player in a pool!).
I see that many players from Quadrant of Conflict are already in. Think it will be boring to play the same map twice.
