PBW Q
Is there any way to look back over Messages to see what you sent to someone? some times the long time between turns I forget what I said/sent, or how do you solve this yourself?

Re: PBW Q
As far as I know, the only way to see what a message says is to load up the game as the receiving empire. I write all my Messages in wordpad and save it after copy&pasting into the game. I also copy&paste all Messages received into the text file and mark each message with "sent" or "received" and the game turn. One file per other empire and one directory per game makes looking things up very easy.

Re: PBW Q
Hmmm...I thought I would need pen and paper , the cut and past may be cool have to give it a try, the other you would need players password to gain access to the message there

Re: PBW Q
I too keep all of my Messages in word pad or note pad format. You can also use the in game NOTE: feature and save any in coming or out going message simply by copying and pasting to it.

Re: PBW Q
I use PIM software (InfoAngel) to store diplomatic Messages. It's quite comfortable, since you can create a folder (game name), subfolders (empires) and notes in each subfolder (Messages itself).

Re: PBW Q
My fix to this is I Keep all the zip files from my games until they end but this may become a bit to much space used.

Re: PBW Q
That approach does allow looking up Messages you received, but you'd still need an extra copy of sent Messages and having to find the correct turn and then load it is an unnecessary annoyance.

Re: PBW Q
Or you could use the companion to cut and paste the Messages into the history events.
That way you can see them in-game; who sent them and at what stardate..
(Or use the old history event editor).
Coming not soon is a new and wonderfully improved easier to use tabbed, plug-in Version of the companion!
