Computers Bridge Crew Quarters Life Support Oh My
When you add a master computer, you can add unlimited number of bridges, crew quarters and life support.
What is the to-hit modifier for a ship that has a disabled bridge/crew quarters/life support, and would adding say 150kt worth of bridges crew quarters and life support prolong your ship's life, especially when dealing with null-space weapons? Anybody ever try this?

*Rushes to beat the three other posters to it* There is no to-hit penalty for ships without bridges/crew quarters/life supports. Instead, you will have a penalty to your speed if you do not have one of these three components, or the Master Computer (-25% if you have no Crew Quarter/Life Support, and -50% if you have no Bridge, if memory serves). You do not need a Master Computer to put as many Crew Quarters/Life Support components as you wish however.
And once your ship has lost its vehicle control components, I wouldn't expect it to survive for long. The Auxiliary Control helps reducing the speed penalty, if you feel inclined to go with this sort of design.

There is no benefit to having multiple bridges unless they have been modded to have an ability that stacks with itself, like the mechanoid bridge's repair ability in Adamant. You could get better damage absorption against null-space weapons with large mount weapons.

Actually, you lose half your speed for having no Crewquarters. Half for no bridge, and you lose Three-Quarters for no Lifesupport.
These multiply together, so a ship missing all three will have a total of one sixteenth of its normal speed.

At least, I said "if memory serves". *Grumbles something about these annoying figures* Thanks for correcting me!

Re: Computers Bridge Crew Quarters Life Support Oh
Even a ship with 1/16th of its normal speed can still get shots off with its weapons unless you outrange it, correct? If your weapons ranges are about the same, then the enemy could still concievably defeat you.
