Default Adamant Supplies

Ragnarok-X:
"The monsters are both taken, in fact played by douglas and me, the superpowers of Invasion game 1 If i may say so. If just the propulsion system in Adamant werent so slow ;( "

Fyron:
"It is only slow at low tech levels. You could always choose a medium tech start and start off with Ion Engines."

Ragnarok-X:
"In my opinion its very slow even midgame, not the actual movement rate but rather the amount of supplies that is needed. I like adamant mod anyways though "

Supplies are a very low priority in stock SE4. I do not like this, so I fixed it. Try building more supply tankers. You can use transports as supply tankers.

No, it should it be here, because its a new thread

So, anyone else with opinons ? I like adamant mod a lot, but i think ship supplies are emptied to fast, even when using more reactors than acutally necesarry. Your opinion ?

BTW. about your "tanker" suggestion: In the galactic invasion 1 game i had pretty moderate fleets, and i had ! tanker vessels, still my vessels often lacked supplies. Maybe this was because of combat as well, since those draw some supplies, too. Still, the main use is the propulsion. And i agree, Stock has too few use for supplies, i would like a match between Stock and Adamant

Stockamant?

It's simple; place a Heavy Reactor of the latest type on your ship, that'll provide it with enough supplies to last a good while. What I usually do, is put on the command/control systems, THEN the engines, and THEN I start worrying about other things - weapons and the like. That way you can choose whether or not it's a fast or slow ship, and if it's range is short or long, before worrying about other stuff. In a Medium tech start game, I've currently got two types of Ark ships:
1. A type with 3 movement and 620 cargo space, for inner-system colonization of my home system.
2. A type with 7 movement and 20 cargo space, for colonization further away.
Both have 1 Heavy Reactor and 2 normal Reactors (to fill up space). The first type essentially has a longer range, but does not use it because of the fact that it's so slow. The second type, on the other hand, has a shorter range, but gets to where it's going much quicker, albeit with less population on board.
