Usually I do LAN multiplayer games of Dominions_2... but during one of my single player games I actually witnessed one of the computer AIs build fortresses ! Now this is on the large Faerun, turn_100 and this AI owns almost half the map... but it did actually build two fortresses.
--This AI owns half the map because I was getting pounded by three other AIs in the beginning.--
I did astral window to verify it wasn't a magic site too. And these were two provinces which do not have any starting fortress.
** Unfortunately the poor location and zero magic sites indicates their was no logic or intelligent decision made for it to build these fortresses.
