Online demo?

Reading the manual, I saw a number of statements that indicated the demo should be playable online.

There was some mention of being able to set up an account without a registration key, although not being able to advance in "experience". The experience level arrangement looks to back this up, with the first level available races and maps corresponding directly to the demo availability.

Seemed like a good idea, and I wouldn't mind playing some human/elf games with demo players.

Actually, we decided at the last minute to strip that feature out. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make another pass through the manual to remove that before the manual went to print.
