I wonder how the cave castle for Agarta will work.

Probably underground battle with darkness by default. If so I wonder what advantage Agarthans will have there, if any.

I've seen a screenshot on the main Dom3 page (no longer there) which makes it clear Agarthans can travel below mountains. Very thematical if you ask me, even if it's essentially limited flying.
