I got it! (in Canada)
Today I stopped by London Drugs after work to see if they have SEV. I go to the computer section of the store, look at the games shelf, and... YES!!! They have SEV! There were three copies on the shelf and so I immediately purchased one. I just got home, installed it on my computer, and applied the 1.08 patch. Now, I'm all set up to play and I know I won't get any sleep tonight. I have work tomorrow, but whatever. All right!! This is a very happy day.
Thank you Rubinski, for pointing me to London Drugs.
And thank you Fyron for advising against Steam.

What an odd name for a store, London Drugs. Not like the computer stores we have here, like Dick Smith

Dick Smith? You guys must have missed out on the normal drug store names too; like Walgreens.

oh it's a drug store. Hang on, you buy computer games at a drug store? Drug stores here aren't like supermarket stores. They're just a small shop on the corner where you go to buy medication or prescription drugs.

Yup, it's a drug store. So you can buy prescription and non-prescription drugs there, but that's only a small part of the store. It also sells electronics, computers, stationary, food, household goods, hardware, all sorts of stuff, like a supermarket, but it doesn't sell any vegetables or fresh produce though.

Just browse the Walgreens website; toys, household, electronics, and lets not forget your ‘roid pain reliever too!

Re: I got it! (in Canada)
Today at the mall, I was in EB games and somebody actually asked when the game was coming out. The moron behind the counter had no clue. The guy just found out about Space Empires from some add he saw. I didn't have a chance to talk to him, my nephews were into things. But at least there are people out looking for the game. I hope they get it into stores soon and run some good ads in gamer magazines and such.
There are still many bugs with the game but so far it has been a great exploration of all the new things SE V brings to the genera.
It would be great if the local walmart or walgreens would start selling it.

*For those that may not know JOMTS is Just One More Turn Syndrome.

$39.98, plus tax, for a total of $45.18.
This is in Canadian dollars.
