SQUIDS IN SPACE!! ;-)

[Deathstalker]

For those of you awaiting space monsters the wait is over!, Sort of. True space monsters (like the barbarians from CIV) await hard-coding, hopfully implemented sometime in the future by the Game-Gods at MM. Until then this shipset will 'fill the gap'.

With the permission of Universal Shipyards the Cephalopia Shipset has been 'resurrected' with full AI files. Shipset is by Damian Lescano, AI files were done by myself, hopefully in keeping with the Vision of Damian for this beautiful shipset.

The Cephalopeia are an Organic race with hidden psychic abilities. The ships they build are tough, and use some oft-forgotten weapons.

Emp files for 2,3,5k have been included, as has a shipnames file. All should go in the appropriate sections.

I put it in the AI/shipset section. Cephalopeia.zip. Will post it here for a few days, but it is definitly in the AI/shipset section, just checked.

I've just run afoul of a squid task force with my lowly scout frigate, and I'm in over my head! (har.)

Thanks guys, but all of the shipset graphic/original concept credit must go to Damian Lescano. I just answered the 'ad' at Universal Shipyards for creating an AI to go with the Shipset. Email's went awry and unfortunately this shipset was posted/completed without Damian's direct knowledge. Luckily he and his brother are a forgiving/understandable sort and we can all enjoy this incredible shipset.(Thats what I love about this game, the maturity of the people that play it, try and find this kind of maturity while playing Blizzards Diablo, it just ain't there )

(and yes, the Cephalopeia have been kicking my but too for about 20 turns in my current game, my fighters are just about useless against the organic armor/pdc they use ).
