#ressize
Whats it for? Shouldnt cavalrymen pay more resources for outfitting the horse not less?

Re: #ressize
Light Cavalry. They are size 2.
Spider Riders. Size 5, equipment on Size 2 human.
Black Hunters. Size 6, equipment on size 2 humans.
Bigger units take more resources. It's something like [rescost * Size/2], AFAIK.

Re: #ressize
I get that. But size 3 resources for cavalry looks about right to me. I dont want my cavalry costing the same amount of resources as my infantry.

Re: #ressize
I think there's some kind of resource penalty for heavy cavalry. Royal Guard of MA Marignon has Plate Cuirass, Iron Cap, Broad Sword and Kite Shield, and costs 49 resources.
Halberdier has Plate Cuirass, Iron Cap and Halberd. 22 resources.
Isn't there a #baseres or something command for setting the resource cost of the base unit itself? 1 for most humans. I guess you could set that higher for heavy cavalry.

Re: #ressize
I do. I set the base on cavalry to 5. But maybe I'm setting it too low. To outfit a horse you need more resources than for a human. Resources for size 3 compensate.

Re: #ressize
Base res cost is something like:
Human:1
Light cav without barding (including van fay horses): 1
Lancer with front armor (sauromatian etc): 5
Medium cav (T'ien Ch'i perhaps, not sure): 10
Heavy cav (knights etc): 20
Very heavy cav (black knights): perhaps 30, not sure
This is added to the equipment of the unit multiplied by the size/2 or #ressize/2 wichever is lower.
