My first attempt at Dom 3 sprite editing
What do you think? Not that much of editing, I know, but I think it turned out to be pretty neat looking.

Poison was my first thought also. Maybe a Bane blade. Maybe an assassin. Angel of Death?

Re: My first attempt at Dom 3 sprite editing
Could you post an ingame screenshot as well please?
As it is because all is black i find it hard to judge how cool your angel looks. I would say he looks very promising, but i want to see how he looks like if you use him ingame .

Re: My first attempt at Dom 3 sprite editing
From what I what wrote the description in the mod...
"The Angel of Death is the most terrifying instrument of punishment and desctruction wielded by the Lord. The Angel of Death punishes stubborn nations as well declared enemies of the Lord. Burning with death, no mortal can ever hope to survive an encounter with the Angel of Death and it is said that even pretender gods will fall should they invoke such a wrath upon them.
The flesh of those rare ones who dare to even try to strike the Angel of Death is burned and they are struck with death and decay. A divine being who can wield such horrifying powers yet retain it's sanctity is the most terrifying one of them all."

Actually, I would need to know what's the proper width for the 128 height sprites before I can make a TGA.
EDIT: I know it should be 128 & 128 but ah...I checked and the wings of the angel I ripped from game don't fit in 128 x 128 so it must be larger than that to begin with...

Re: My first attempt at Dom 3 sprite editing
If you ripped it from the game, your ripped unit may come out 25% larger than the "real" sprite if you used the method of blacking out the screen and taking a screen shot.
The entire unit should fit into a 128x128 box and the Fallen Angel is less than 128 pixels high.

Re: My first attempt at Dom 3 sprite editing
256x256
However, if you rip it from the unit descr screen, it'll be too big. It was pointed to me that my old way of doing things doesn't work any more.
