Which Version of the Devnullmod works best for solo play? I wanted to try it out but I read that the newest Version isn't 100% compatible with the AI.

The current Version comes with all the original races and two new ones that work with the mod.

Not sure where you read that =)
The newest Version (1.31) has it's own racial AI that is fully compatible with itself. The mod should work reasonably well for solo play.
