Question about poison attacks.
I know that when an Air Queen attacks a shock immune creature, her
lightning attacks go to waste. What happens when someone with a
venemous bite/spray/etc... attacks a poison immune creature? Does
he still do normal damage? Is the attack completely wasted? Does
it even count as magic?

Re: Question about poison attacks.
Normal damage is okay, if it is bite or claw. Spray doesn't do anything. Only the physical component comes in- any elemental/poison is ignored.
Air queen does elemental damage only with those attacks.

Re: Question about poison attacks.
For most poison weapons, there is an additional effect, which is in fact another weapon that does poison only damage. That effect is ignored for immune units, other damage applies normally.
If you take a look at the modding manual, you will see that it is possible to designate weapons as doing a particular type of damage (fire, cold, poison, shock), in which case immunities apply.

Re: Question about poison attacks.
What happens when someone with a poisonous bite attacks a lucky or ethereal unit? Does the poison damage automatically beat luck/etherealness if the bite does? Or do you have to roll again?
Also, do luck/etherealness protect against cloud attacks like Snake Bladder Stick or a bog beast/hydra poison cloud?

Re: Question about poison attacks.
Luck might prevent dmg, but not ethereality IIRC.
I believe luck prevents all kinds of stuff, like soul slay. It is quite good.

Actually, I think Sombre tested this very recently. If I recall the test correctly, he tried soul slay a number of times on a modded 0 mr unit, and it didn't seem to make difference if it had luck or not.

You could just turn on debugging and look in your error log for this. It should read like "luck prevented ..." in case it would get active. From my experience, poison clouds are a very good way to fight against high-prot/high-def/ethereal enemies. It bypasses them all.
