Default was wondering????

I was wondering if anyone could make a national spell for LA Ermor. It would be alot like the National spell for Pangaea Carrion Woods. It would be neat if it could make use of all the creature in the game or atleast alot of them. It would be awesome if for a really powerful special creature it could be like an undead dragon. I know ermor already has alot of spells like the tartarian gate and others but i think that it would be a neat idea to put up and have people look at. If I knew how to do this kind of stuff I would try it but since I have no idea how to do it i would like to put it out there for the experts to try.

Im pretty sure complex spells like that arent moddable but it sounds fun(and very powerful and thus very expensive and difficult to cast) and maybe if we ever get some highly advanced modding tools you'll see it?(I said pretty sure so im not 100% its not possible but i dont think so).

There are a couple of ways that might do what you want - I'm not sure exactly what you have in ind.

Firstly, you can mod either Carrion Woods or Soulgate to make more powerful creatures (not sure what you mean by "all the creatures in the game"), by selecting the unit #s made by the spells, and changing their stats. This would *replace* the existing spells, however - so if you change Carrion Woods to an Ermor spell that makes different units, carrion woods would no longer exist.

Another alternative (which is part of the next edition of my expanded national spells mod) would be to give Ermor national summons that, in turn, dominion spawn powerful troops.

This sounds like a great idea! It could even be an immobile "black portal of zzyzyxx" or something. I really like the Black Tome, by the way.

I agree with mork on both points - nice idea Dr.

I think what alderanas is wanting is alot more variety in LA Ermors auto-spawned troops via a new global spell so you could occasionally get an undead dog/centaur/dragon/hillbilly ect along with the regular spawns so yes, similar to carrion woods but with alot more units.

Theres a really good undead dragon sprite in the Nova Deus mod, the creator probably wouldn't mind if you used it.

yea that is pretty much what i was lookin for. I mean i love La ermor but i did think it need more types of units. I mean they are undead they should be able to raise more than just the human looking undead. again thanks for looking at it and if you ever make it just post here that you have and ill give it a look.
