Possible bug re-FO teams in v3

I've just installed patch version 3 and continued my German long campaign. I was in the middle of my 3rd battle, so still facing the Poles.

I have an artillery company in my force, and after installing the patch the Forward Observer doesn't have a radio anymore, and when I tried to call down artillery with him I got the message 'Can't assign artillery with this unit' or something to that effect. Anyone else encountered this problem guys?
