Reason: attach files
Wouldn't that be better modeled as an ATGM? The human handlers would send the mine dogs at the tanks ATGM style. Just like the German beetle micro tanks. In fact, I think I might implement those in my own OOB's if the ATGM functionality is present.
The ATGM is a good suggestion, but the problem is that dogs mine unit remains on map after destruction... So, the icon of dogs is braun, and no very visible = no problem. But human icons will remains too...
For the datation : Dogs mine were used in 1942 essentialy, never berore 1942, and very rarely after 1942. But you can modify that yourself in the oob with Mobhack
Question for Shrapnel staff : I posted a thread about a very interessant mod (infantry icons) I have founded on an other site, but I don't see it on the forum. Is there a pb with ?

I sent you a private message about that just after the thread was deleted. These are third party mods of another games graphics that have been further modded to work in our game and therefore are not allowed on this forum either as a direct DL or a Link
IF you are indeed using them in your game you might want to check how the Polish 19 man squads look
Ok,sorry for the link, I didn't see that these icons were created for Spwaw (I never used SPWAW = not my cup of tea, because global system and oob of spww2 are better, I think). But It's a pity that these graph will not be used by players, because they are very very good. I will now use them as private graphs.
I did not found the 19 mens polish squad you say, but, with Mobhack, I have given 19 men to a polish rifle squad to see the result : it's effectively a very "large icons" (it takes more place than the hex) but I think these situations are very rare in the game.

If you like them use them but we have had others submit similar efforts in the past and I just don't like them. To me they over clutter the hex but those ones in the past were original work. They **may** still be on the forum but it would require some serious digging to find them

Virtually all Polish Infantry / Marines before Oct 1939 are 19 men per squad.
