Conversion of Campaigns from SPMBT II?

Folks,

I've searched for this question, but the answer is still unclear. Can you use CampaignHack to convert the built-in campaigns from SPMBT II for use into WinSPMBT? I have the old disk, but I've tried using CampaignHack; it doesn't recognize any valid campaigns.

On a related note, I was searching through the archives and found the link to CENTAG78; that seemed to convert correctly although it ended up occupying Slot #8 and overwrote one of the new built-in campaigns. Doesn't seem like it's working correctly though.

If you meant the SSI game "Steel Panthers 2" (the original campaign CDs) - no, those are before the SPMBT campaign format.

The SSI campaigns were a plug-in to fixed hooks built into the SSI EXE code. So only expandable by game developers. We removed the hooks, since the campaigns were no use to us. Fixed data, in obsolete SSI SP2 format.

SPMBT Campaigns are data driven and users can write their own. SPHACK is only for SP Camo user campaign data, not SSI.

Thanks Andy! I'll have to keep looking around for a similar campaign. I think I pretty much wore out Wargamer's archives. I wonder how I can reverse-engineer the Fulda Gap and recreate it on WinSP. Hmmmm...something to keep me busy through the Spring....
