Question of points
Not sure if I can put into words the question I want to ask but here it goes....The stage is West Germany in 1987. The Red Horde is sitting across the boarder. They outnumber NATO by something like 4 to 1 in tanks, 10 to 1 in artillery and so on and so on. I want to play a long campaign using the US against the Soviet Union. My starting points for a core force will be 15,000. How much should the computer AI be given to reflect the mass numbers of troops and equipment?
I would think that because the Soviet equipment is cheaper that both forces should get 15,000. A Soviet MBT is far cheaper than a M1A1. Or should the Soviets get something like 25,000 points versus the US 15,000? Any insight or thoughts would be appreciated.
