The game? If you try to sacrifice with more than one it tells you you can't.

Ahh, I'm sure you're right. It doesn't appear anywhere in the docs, and I had forgotten.

Re: Blood Sacrifice
Number 3 might be possible though. Because priests preaching in an enemy province that contains a temple gets the +1 to priest level if there is an enemy temple present.

Re: Blood Sacrifice
I don't have the game in front of me and I've never tried it, so I can't say definitely (for the moment) that you can't surreptitiously sacrifice your slaves in someone else's temple to boost our own dominion. This is honestly not something I ever thought to try. However...
Thematically it seems like a strange idea: A priest quietly sacrificing your virgins in someone else's temple. I mean, doesn't the fact that it's someone else's temple mean your sacrifices there improve that god's dominion, not yours? Sounds kind of like scoring a touchdown in the wrong endzone.
I think of blood sacrifices as a huge public ceremony that the populace of the province come out for in droves, like the sacrifice scene in Apocalypto. It's a scheduled event. It's the most anticipated and exciting thing on the monthly calendar. Your people are gathered in a tumultuous throng at the base of this huge ziggarat. They're drinking, eating meats on a stick, making wagers on who will live the longest after being stabbed by the jade knife - who will scream the loudest. It's a monster truck rally, national holiday and weather report for the next 30 days all rolled into one. Noone would dare miss it. Seriously. They wouldn't dare.
So, yeah, I don't see that happening quietly - or happening in anyone else's temple.
And from a game balance perspective, does anyone seriously think Mictlan (ignoring the other blood sac'ing nations for the moment) needs another tactic to add to their toolbox? I mean, dozens of Civateteos (being the stealthy H2 blood mages that they are) stocked up on slaves slipping into your terrain and dom killing you in a sudden alpha strike? W? T? F? And do the local worshippers in this eg. Jomon temple fail to even notice that their regular priest has been replaced by this guy covered in feathers and painted like a heretic (err... sorry, I did say Civateteo, so that would be white chalk covered, shriveled old dead woman) with his (her) 30 drunk girls on a leash? At the very least I'd expect the temple goers in the front row in their temple-going best to object that they weren't expecting to be treated to Evil Dead The Musical.

Really... I didn't know that! It's pretty useful to know! I can see it making some sort of sense, since an enemy temple would be the perfect place to show them the errors of their ways... Although that wouldn't be too stealthy anymore.
Regarding the blood sacrifices, I'll have to agree with Hrum all the way!
