Re: Demo
Don't you just hate it when you get addicted to broadband and your connection goes down, forcing you to use an oh-so-reliable dial-up modem? It is so much fun.

Re: Demo
First reaction: The splash screen sucks. I hope it's a work in progress.

Re: Demo
yeah, the intro is kinda weak. however, drones are sick... what is the whole supply usage thing and then having to have them only attack without your control, kinda cool, but they need to be in packs against large planets. I bet they are killer once you get big ones and launch 20 at another planet. I guess you need ot be able to see the planet though (targeting) before launching. Can't wait for the real gold.

Re: Demo
Quick note to everyone: the Gold demo is not nearly as complete of a demo as earlier demos. Many tech tree levels are more limited. So you get to fool around with drones and check out various bug fixes and AI improvements, but you'll have to settle for only Storage I, etc. Personally, I'll wait to play on the full game. My guess is, the previous demos were so much fun that people weren't buying. So if you've been holding back (you know who you are), you're going to have to pony up to enjoy the Gold Version.
