Paras on the Litani
A new scenario from me. IDF helicopter assault on bridges in Lebanon with some interesting(hopefully) surprises. Map is loosely based on actual area but modified to my pleasure.
Oh, do try to read the briefing it does help some.
Would love feedback on problems with map, difficulty, and anything.
Amit.

Re: Paras on the Litani
Worked well for me, finished it already having decisive victory.
47 Israelis dead, one Yas'ur shot down and same goes to one UAV.
Lebanese and Hizballah lost 500 men, 4 light vehicles, 20 APCs and 20 tanks/fortifications.
Enjoyed this scenario since I took approach of absolutely minimum losses. I had them around 20 men at max till turn you-know-well-which-one. Lets say... I have lost the others because I believed intelligence data too much :P
Really good one, should be included for official scenario list. However, since the scenario is not US one and a bit time consuming also you will not receive much of the applause...
Shame.

Re: Paras on the Litani
What I found thinking about this scenario: decrease the importance of several units (especially ZSUs). I know disabling AA is important and you want to emphasize that, but a single ZSU-23 worth of 4 Yas'urs for instance can suggest player to rush way too much and not care about losses.

Re: Paras on the Litani
Nice map. Good representation of villages and surrounding landscape. I'm at turn three and while moving helos in over land with the "All" function on, found that BA0-PL and BA1 were separated with as I recall BA1 flying with the 101st/A Coy. The Engineer section riding in BA1 could be attached to the 101st/A Coy if that was the intention. Or, keep the helos the Engineers are riding in together and let the player task the Engineer PL as desired.
So far, it is enjoyable

Re: Paras on the Litani
I have started playing.. I don't have to head out for vacation until later :-)
I have a quuestion which might be a sploiler so don't read further if you don't want to see this
Not sure if it is a game bug or me. When I move my patrol boats to land my men. They get stuck. I have tried to deboard them in ocean hexes but they won't. When I go to a coastal hex, the men can leave but then the boat is stuck. I am doing something wrong or it is a bug? I have attached the save game file.
