Karagdemir Dam
This is a scenario from the novel "The Cyprus Gamble" (book 2 of the "Smoke over the Bosporus" series)
The battle is set in Turkish-controlled eastern Thrace and takes place during the Greek offensive into its southern part. In the scenario, a Greek force at the Karagdemir Dam defends the northern flank of that offensive. The force consists of a depleted Leopard 2 company and an infantry company, with the tanks conducting a delaying action to the north and the infantry holding the dam. The Greeks defend the dam because by bursting it, they can flood extensive parts of the countryside and therefore prevent the Turks from striking the flank of their offensive. Another depleted tank company operates off to the west and will join the battle in turn 20.
The Turkish force consists of an armored battalion and an infantry one from the 54th Mechanized Brigade heading south to counterattack the Greek offensive. Both of these are also depleted after participating in the offensive against Bulgaria (Novel: Return of the Ottomans (book 1 of the series)). The Turkish strength is based on the result of the battles I play tested in previously uploaded Steel Panthers MBT scenarios - what they have here is what they had left after those Steel Panthers battles against the Bulgarians.
Note: The large number of MRLSs the Greeks have are there to simulate the destruction of Turkish units in the flood zone once the Greeks burst the dam. Do not use them outside the flood zone.
