another question
I have a question on accumulative values on facilities. If you have a Central Computer Complex then add a System Computer Complex, do their value accumulate or does the System wide facility gives the ability to scrap the planet only facility?
Thanks again friends.

Re: another question
Someone may correct me but I think in general one and only one system facility will combine with one and only one sector facility.

Re: another question
DavidG is correct. These two will stack but adding another sector or another system facility of the same type will not stack. Only the better will be used.

Re: another question
ok, I am a bit slow
I have 2 planets, each have research facilities and each has 1 research computer complex, then I add a system research complex somewhere in that system. So, is there any facility that I dont need? (ie not effective).
Thanks again

Re: another question
No. You are doing fine.
Basically what they are saying is this.
If you have a system robotic factory then it increases all the resources harvesting by 30%
If you also had a system mineral scanner that increased production by 20% it wouldn't do anything. It takes the resource harvesting from the system robotic factory and ignores the system mineral scanner.
Now if you have regular planetary robotic factories as well then each of those would give their bonus in addition to whatever system bonus you get.
But if you had a planet robot factory and a planet mineral scanner then once again it only takes the one with the higher value and ignores the other.
Thus for each planet you only need 1 planet facility of that type for that planet. And for each System you only need 1 system facility of that type for that system.
Hope that isn't too confusing.

Re: another question
HEY!!! As I said I was slow, I finally got it for sure this time. I had to do a search because I had a doubt, and found this thread again, and now it makes sense.

Re: another question
ok lemme explain.
there are two types - system facilities and planet facilities. if you use, say, +20% planetary and +30% planetary on one planet you'll get +30% because it higher - the +20% is canceled out. If, however, you have +20% planetary and +30% system it stacks together for +50%. helps?
