I've been finding I spend about 5-6 hours a day working on races, while I only spend about 1-2 hours actually playing the game. Like Alpha Kodiak, I rarely make it past turn 60 before I'm restarting...

My big points on the styles are:

No AI - the ship sets I get with no AI that still look fairly nice I've renamed and stuck in the nuetrals folders so they don't all use the same ships.
