It's more about the "dirty nuclear devices" than an actual nuclear bomb. Pack TNT with radioactive medical waste and many square blocks would require clean-up for a while. The insurance company will not pay for radioactive fallout on your car. Most likely the government will disposed of your vehicle regardless of what you desire.
