  • Neo-Standard (homepage) - A set of definitions for extra shipset image names. It allows modders and shipset designers a consistent framework for expanding beyond the default images.
  • TDM - A vast collection of fantastic AIs for the unmodded game.
  • [url="http://www.geocities.com/hohoho611ca/pirates.html"]Pirates and Nomads mod (by me)[url] Peruse the "A Pirate's Life For Me" thread for details.
  • TGA - An obscure type of image file, or perhaps some other acronym I'm not familiar with.
  • QNP - Quasi-newtonian Propulsion: Instead of "thrust = speed" as in standard SE4, QNP means the mod uses "thrust/mass = speed". For true newtonian propulsion, it would be thrust/mass = acceleration.
  • mQNP - mount based QNP instead of large ships requiring more standard engines, there are engine mounts which make the engine components larger for larger ships
