it maybe a program limitation, it may be limites 255 depending on the variable he used to store the value.

Can an iterrmadiate quadrent size be made? 255 is to large sometines and 100 is to small sometimes. I get tired of forgetting to switch the number in the file. Could a size between medium and large be created?

The settings.txt file in ModPack is just a default unmodified one for the 1.27 Version (with the exception of two lines at the end of the file that set maximum number of units and ships). You guys can change settings as you like (just make sure you edit the one located in SEIV\ModPack\Data folder, not the original in SEIV\Data folder). I usually play with 255-system quadrant and have no trouble with mod.
