Thanks. The game where we meet was Space 3:Expansion if I'm right. It was a nice game (and BIG, I've neither before nor after have over 20M overproduction per turn or build a sphereworld ) and you had quite a big empire but the end wasn't good, Vienetai shouldn't have surrendered to me.

About game settings, I'm not sure if ruins are good. In team game they aren't so important but they can still unbalance the game. And I really suggest banning religious trait.

Asmala, I do not think that ruins may so much overpower the game to be Banned when they add some unpredictability.
About the talisman - we are for letting it in. If you're afraid of it - use it

I'm not afraid of it (because I can take it too ) but I've played one 3vs3 team game before and in that game both teams had two talisman players and one support player. IMO it makes the game less interesting. I'm curious how many talisman players there were in Lithuania vs USA game?

The other thing we should consider is ancient trait. It is absolutely sure both teams will have one ancient player and that would make exploring useless, thus removing one game aspect.

And what about colony/atmosphere types. Should a team pick one colony type so others must be researched or no limits.

Simplify are ready and willing. And if you didn't knew that before, I am Finn.
I have played (too) many thalisman games before, so I vote to drop that too. And if we talking about good playing (in team), maybe we should drop Ancient race also.
When I saw the racial points: 3000, I was sure that this game is religious, so if we are going to allow talishman I will suggest to use max 1000 racial points, maybe even 0.

Cheers
