If there is no restrictions each player would take different atmosphere and colony type. That means no research required to get all colony types and lots of extra job when players trade population and transports to proper planets. Easier if all team members have to choose same atmosphere.

That is the reason why I asked the same atmosphere for all players but I have no problems whatever we decide.

With 3000 racial points it's sure everyone will take the talisman. So the question is whether we want it. And ancient, it's up to you if you want to explore or not. It's also absolutely sure one team member picks ancient trait.

we don`t need to research colonization tipes, we can just trade them among us. So we could use all planets and moons.

Yeah I know and that's the reason I suggested all team members should pick same colony type so trading isn't possible and other colony types have to be researched.

This is not my game so my input is really unimportant. I really like the Deeply Religious trait beyond the talisman itself, and much like the max aggressiveness/defensive/bezerker design, I think it gets over-used and limits planning and thinking that can make the game much more enjoyable.

I suggest you limit each team to one religious player. With a 5-on-5 match, the religious trait becomes useful but not overly dominant in the game. Chances are many religious ships will be focused near each team's respective player, but there will be too many places for it to entirely dominate. The religious player will probably supply talisman ships so that each player will have some, so they become part of the strategic game but not the only part. It would make the game much more interesting.

I gather this was a no intel game? That would prevent each side from merely focusing on the other team's religious player.

This isn't no intel game.

Hi there,

I have promised to play in Finnish team, but I need to say that I have played TOO many religious games. I hate the situation that I need to take religious cause my opponents takes it too... So I will vote NO for religious.
I will vote YES for intelligence.
Everything else is fine with me.

Cheers
