That is a pretty good way to look at it David. I have to say it had never occured to me before.
Quite clever actually.
Since I was sixteen I have worked 85% of my life on the grave yard so it would not apply to me, but still, very nice way to look at it.
In retro spect, I guess I did look at it this way.
2 am became 1 am and I still had 5 more hours to go when before I only had 4. An extra hour at work and no pay. That sucked.
In the spring what was 5am became 6 am and I lost an hour of work.... Hot damn I get to go home an hour early and get an extra hour of sleep. (Lost an hour of pay. So I would loose two hours of pay every year. We called them the vanishing Hours. For me that was nearly $40.00 bucks each year I lost.)
