Re: how to make a resupply starbase
The PBW only Version of Pirates and Nomads mod does that.

why ?? in every wargame i have ever come across a base is used as a resupply point in startrek trouble with tribble the starbase is a resupply point repair yard and relaxation center for the overstressed crew the same functions are performed in historical wargames

Failing that, it's emergency resupply + solar panel + storage. But that usually won't Last too long even, given the sapping power of the higher-level guns and engines...

ahh so you do it to except you use a ship
i see no problem with this as i have no problem with the requirement to stick around for a turn in a fleet sorta like docking to hook up the transfer hoses

Go the your settings.txt and change this line "Bases Can Join Fleets := False" to "true". Now you can join your bases in a fleet.

Re: how to make a resupply starbase
by cheesy, I mean that you're playing 1.91 on 1.60 settings, which is a sort of bug abuse
No offence, no hard feelings, play the way you like

No. You could just have different Versions of the components for bases and ships though.

Well it is not necessarily a bug abuse... many players prefer to be able to use bases as resupply depots. This is why a setting was added, rather than it being a forced change that you can do nothing about.
