That's a lot of carbon nanotubes to manufacture, to build the space elevator. I thought they have only created tiny amounts of carbon nanotubes in the lab so far. Probably won't happen very soon.

Yeah, I played the game "spoons" and after a while, all our hands were bleeding because a couple of the people we played with had long, sharp nails, and as we made a grab for the spoons, we got all badly scratched up.
