Anyway, all these hax0rz's tricks are targeted against IE vulnerabilities, so the major advice is "do not use Internet Explorer". This will solve 80% of problems.

Re: Evil Java Scripts / Pop Up Installs
Ahem! I,.. 'AM' Silly. Most people have a funny-bone, I have a silly-bone.
Cheers!
P.S. BTW it IS just my silly opinion that Firefox has little to offer over Mozilla. (feel free to list the multitude of features that I wouldn't use anyway.) But in my defense, if the 'added features' are not something I need or would use then Firefox is a useless upgrade. Besides Mozilla is working fantastic. why would I want to change or upgrade something that is not broken or otherwise 1000% better than IE?

The only difference I've noted between Firefox and the fuller Mozilla suite is that the Mozilla suite doesn't allow the use of the middle mouse button (ie: click down on the mouse wheel), which is usually good for rapidly scrolling up and down a screen. Maybe it's just with my mouse, but for some reason Mozilla won't allow it, but Firefox does. Go figure.

Re: Evil Java Scripts / Pop Up Installs
The two browsers in in fact different programs. It's just the 'Gecko' HTML engine that is shared between them. So, it's not surprising that there are features they don't have in common.

Re: Evil Java Scripts / Pop Up Installs
It's here! Mozilla 1.7.2 has been posted on the main Mozilla.org site! Whether you can get it now or have to wait for the downloading frenzy to subside in a few days remains to be seen.
Edit:
I'm using it now. Got both the Mozilla 1.7.2 and the Sun Java 1.4.2_05 updates installed. 50+ megabytes of stuff. Time for a defrag.
