You do realize that this thread is nearly three weeks old?
Anyway, the... gas... released by mammals of the planet Terra consists mainly of methane and sulfer dioxide. The sulfer dioxide smells. The methane does not. Those who bring up the smell of "Natural Gas" (which is methane, sold as fuel) should know that the smell comes from an additive to warn people that there is gas present, so get out and don't make any sparks.
Oh, and just wondering... Did you forget your Ritalin?

And, FTR, that additive is a sulfur compound as well (generally methyl mercaptan). Methane is basically odorless; simple hydrocarbons don't start having odors until one hits at least propane or butane.
