By space yard I mean 50 stations with one building componet, and on planets with many space yards you can build large things like 200 fighter in far less turn.

Come to think of it having the option to buy 200 ships at a time like mines and fighters on a planet would be nice.

I could live with one SPACE YARD per planet, if it weren't really one QUEUE per planet. You cannot build ships while building facilities. That's what's really annoying. I wish a space yard was its own queue so you could build a space yard & be building ships while continuing to build facilities on your planet. Or even building units to defend the planet while building ships.

Baron,

I agree but MM hasn't listened to us. I do see some advantages though. I make the game a more stragy game rather than a " I build more than you and roll all over you.

I don't know that it is a matter of them not listening as much as they have other things that take priority. Did you see, btw, that the game has sold out it's first run????

I hope they got a copy to MM to send to the beta testers before they sold out. Maybe we can put them up for auction ( just kidding folks ) :}

I don't know, who all knows this, but at least in the demo Version. I can do the following.

On and empty Planet, I build one ship yard and than hit the repeat build and speed build buttons. In about 12 turns I will have 10 ship yards on that planet. This allows you to build a ship per turn. things like system grav shields and massive shielding for planets takes 2 turns. You can build 137 high tech mines in one turn. Any way, the most important thing is you can build a ship a turn.

On a planet, you already have a ship yard on and wish to do the same thing. You need to remove the ship yard first and about nine other Faciliies and than do the same as above. The advanage to planets you already own is that you build 10 ship yards faster because of the population modifiers.

Finally you have 10 turns of speed building on a ship yard. in 10 turns you'll have enough ship yards built, that it will not matter if it slips back into slow Build. Because at a certain point the planet or planets you select, to do this type of set up on, will be building 1 ship yard a turn(fast,normal or slow) until your hearts desire.

Has Any tried this on the full Version?
