What's the use for the following items....?

Deeper in the game you will find 'enchanted' rings and amulets. Once you find some it will be readily apparent they have good use. In the beginning of the game, most rings and amulets are just good for selling to get money.

I believe that curently shovels and picks are just a type of weapon. It would be nice if they could be used for digging/tunneling in caves. Then 'mining' would be a possible way to earn cash in the game!
