You have OS 9, and OS X. OS X is a completely different operating, based on Unix. Some older apps in OS X still have OS 9 type code (classic), also some newer software, which also tries to run in full OS 9 environment has some legacy code in it, but its harder to code from the results I have seen.
Best imho to go fully OS X in that case, Apple are pretty much doing all they can to phase out OS 9... |
