Re: Announcing: Freespace mod, a branch of the People\'s Mod
Also The Peoples mod is still going strong. You can check how it's progressing at.

and to see some of the models of the game at:

Shameless advertising. Sorry!

Well, I knew about the people's mod, but I haven't seen much activity in it. Anyone have any preference to themes?

Re: Announcing: Freespace mod, a branch of the People\'s Mod
As much as I would love to see a Star Trek Mod (and I would vote for that) I have to say I think a Freespace Mod would be more fitting for Starfury.
Not to mention you would probably get a nasty letter from Paramount saying you are infringing on some Star Trek Copyright unless you pay them some god awful chunk of cash (as has happened in some other mods I have heard of for other games).

Nothing has been done about the Star Trek mods for SE4. I doubt anything will happen with a SF Star Trek Mod. Malfador and Shrapnel are under the Paramount radar.

Re: Announcing: Freespace mod, a branch of the People\'s Mod
Well, I also tend to agree that a freespace mod is more fitting, the star trek ships are just too large. I'm leaning more towards a freespace mod, although if I get enough support then I may consider doing both.

What do you mean by too large?

Re: Announcing: Freespace mod, a branch of the People\'s Mod
The way the movement engine is would make it silly to make a ST mod
For one, a Borg Cube looks completely stupid when turning about (trust me, Ive imported plenty on ST models into SF)
